Steaming Again: Rochdale to Scarborough
The Scarborough Flyer, Crewe to York and Scarborough, has this year been re routed via the Calder Valley due to engineering work in the Stalybridge area.
Whilst this is unfortunate for the Standage line it has been a success for those at Rochdale and places further along the Caldervale line.
Passengers from the Rochdale area have taken advantage of the chance to once again travel direct to York and Scarborough.
