Flying Scotsman at Rochdale 1969

The Flying Scotsman locomotive has been to Rochdale several times in the 1960s and 1970s.    This is the scene on 1st June 1969 when it was working a Railtour and stopped at Rochdale station.   `crowds on the tracks are nothing new and are very dangerous even more so in these days of super fast trains.
