Farewell to the T68 Metrolink Trams

The iconic T68 Metrolink trams performed their last day in public service on Wednesday 30^th of April 2014 (see photos attached to this page).

It is hoped that 2 examples of the trams will be preserved at the Heaton Park tramway.

There will be a farewell trip by a T68 on Bank Holiday Monday 26^th of May, starting at Piccadilly Undercroft at 10.30. Cost is £20 (which is going to charity). The tour will cover the Altrincham, Eccles and Bury lines and will finish at 15.00.
